Hi guys, hope this thread hasn't been done before.

I know the GU scoops on the GQ's seem to be done to death, but that could be because everyone seems to like them, along with me.

I am looking o put 2 GU bonnet scoops on my gq and wondering about the best way to go about it. I am handy-ish with the tools (installed dual battery's and made draws etc) and i am wondering how hard something like this is to do.

Does it require any welding or is it just, measure 3 times (no no make that 4 or 5 times), cut and silicone/screw it down?

Any advice or pointers would be great.

Cut board template and just position it where you want it to go, measure twice cut once.

just keep in mind 2 on a gq bonnet means cutting out a lot of the inner frame and results in a flimsy bonnet .
