Hey guys I have a 07 gu patrol wagon and just bought a td42for a conversion all was all good till I found out that 2006 is the last model able to be done legally. Has any1 sussefully got it done as I have heard that some manage to get passed at vicroads somehow and I can be lucky.. has any1 had one engneerd? Or been lucky at vicroads or other states? Cheers

I have seen one or two around for sale. I cannot comment on whether they where engineered and certified though.

Who are you worried about it being 'legal' with?
Technically you can only fit an engine of the same year model or newer, but how many dead ZD30 GU's are running around out there with GQ TD42's in them? Heaps!!
I'd do the conversion anyway
