Hi guys!

Just completed a full strip-down and service of my GQ PTO winch. Manual says to use Mobil 600W oil. I don’t have access to it where I live. Can I use another non-hypoid oil (GL1 to GL3) as an equivalent? What SAE equivalent?

Sorry if this is a repeat of a topic discussed before. I tried the search but couldn’t come up with any equivalent oils.

I've found Mobilgear 600 XP,this is a gear oil type rather than 600 viscosity rating, look for the winch manufacturers viscosity rating or contact the local oil company's tech advisory assistance.

Mobilgear 600 XP ISO 680 is it? That would be the closest to SAE 250W I think?
