I have dilemma about swap one of these two engines to my GQ. Mostly i'd like to put TD42T on it but its very expensive to buy. For price of td42 i will change from A to Z whole rb or m62 even with bmw 6 speed gearbox. I was driving m62 GQ and rb25 GQ both was LWB and both lifted with steel bumpers, winches bla bla bla.
m62 was with gearbox from td42 but now i know that everyone install bmw gearbox with patrol transfer case. I know that rb25 has same engine mounts, gearbox can stay from rd28, Supposedly in both engines i should change diesel diffs for gasoline diffs cause they are "faster" Can someone tell me how it looks in real life? Both owners of this two cars i was driving didnt done swap's by themselves, they bought they cars with this engines so they cant help me. I like both engines cause in rb is turbo so its very tuneable, but V8 is V8
