I'm running 4 x 100w H1's on the maverick and am looking at rewiring them.

is it better to run a pair of spotties per relay and then run each spottie relay off the relay going to the current hi beam?

ie 3 separate relays from the high beam.

Hi gf, these diagrams should help you, and you don't need a relay to drive the driving light relays.

Driving light relays only draw about 0.25 amps so they will happily operate of the existing head light wiring.

Just double up on the set up to cover 4 driving lights.

I’m pretty sure your lights are positive switched but here is the diagrams for both positive and negative switched headlights.

BTW, you don’t need the YELLOW connected to the switch in the diagram. This wire just lets you turn the driving lights on independent of the high beam lights.

Nah, keep it simple, do it the way Drivesafe suggests... just make sure you don't accidentally put in Changeover Relays 87 and 87A terminals in lieu of Power Relays with two 87 Terminals.

Happened to someone on here recently...
