I just tried fitting an adjustable panhard so i could center my rear diff but the bar just wont bolt up
Anyone else have this problem the bush fits nice but the actual bar is to wide for the mount
I was thinking of opening up the slot with a grinder.:)

What brand is yours?

Mine is superior and it has fare bit off clearance and the tube hasn't been machined down on both sides like yours has. But the tube is full width off the bush.

That is what i should have bought Sim this one is a Roadsafe HD adjustable rear panhard for GQ and early GU rears p/n APR005R and its sold through a few 4x4 shops as well as ebay. That machined part is 35mm wide, which is the same as the gap in the chassis mount and jams tight when trying to bolt it in. It was also advertised as being made from a 35mm solid bar but measures 30mm, obviously 3mm was removed in the manufacturing process:rolleyes:
Its not bolt in on my 89 GQ and needs 4mm ground of each side of the mount to get the same clearance as a std bar which is what im going to do rather than be flogged $40 posting it back
thanks

the tube is wider than the bush hence the machined area
