Hi all
My name is corey im 17 and this is my gq patrol, i got it for a steal of $1960, reason for so cheap is because it needs a new head and rear main seal, plans are a 4"lift and 33" muddies, lockers, turbo on the tb42 when im on my opens, it's a auto which im not sure if i like yet because im still waiting to drive it :(.

only got a couple of pics but ill put a couple of dad's home made rear bar for his GU 5 aswell.

Hi all,

been a long time since i updated, a few things happened since last, new gearbox  and a 3" lift. love the new lift it's a suspension stuff lift, 3" flexy coils, 5" lifted shocks in the front and 6" lifted shocks in the back, got the 2" tower spacers in the front so the shocks will fit, brake lines, caster bushes (superflex arms when funds allow) yer havent been offroad yet trying to get a few mech issues sorted.

here is how she sat stock

a little differance in the shock langth

a pic to show the differance between the front and back

and a couple of how she sits now

many more mods to come.

sorry guys,
i havn't had a chance to go offroad yet, but i can tell ya a little about the lift, if you get the 5" lifted front shock you most likely have to cut the shock panal out to get the spacers to fit. on road it handles great, bit of body roll but nothing uncomfortable.
great kit i just got to do the break lines and ill be hitting the tracks, i would recommend the lift to anyone.

if thats any help!!! ill keep you all informed on how it performs on the weekend

No worries. I just modded oem bracket on the rear, grind an drilled them to fit a 80s bumpstop. Fronts i have 80s bumpstop an spacer block (body lift block).

Cut off oem bumpstop. Grind out a gap big enough for nyloc nut an washer, drill a hole. That easy, took me longer to get the bastards off the car an back on.
