I've got to replace the drivers side lapsash seatbelt for my 89 Maverick. Does anyone know whether pathfinder, pintaras etc use the same belt?

mines frayed and won't make it through a roadworthy..

If you go to Repco they sell new aftermarket seat-belts to suit. Should cost around $100 ea.
I had to buy new ones for rear of the 7 seater.

Mine is a 88 Patrol.
the bloke at repco was a numpty. Even with the after market part number! he rang the maker and they didn't recognise the number that was printed on their line chart.

off to the wreckers tomorrow.

is there anything tricky in replacement - ie are the buts on the B pillars secured?

Typical. I've got a mate at Repco that does all that stuff for me.

Looked up the Klippan part number it's 76242 if that's any help. (he has it on the shelf all the time as it's a popular belt).

The rear belts just un-bolted & bolted straight back on, am told the front should do the same. Good luck hope it works out,
