Hi All,
I bought a GQ RB30 safari tuff clutch for my GU conversion and then realised i needed to use the dual mass flywheel for the meantime so it can sit into the gearbox because the RB30 flywheel is smaller and so the clutch will not slide right back on the shaft.
As the flywheels on both the motors are very similar i went to dummy fit the pressure plate on the RD2.8 dual mass flywheel and the 9 bolt holes match up but the 3 dowl pins on the flywheel do not allign, when i mean allign one will go in and the other 2 are out by only a few mm?
I decided to call exedy to see if there was a difference in the 2 pressure plates but the guy said they are exactly the same, only difference is the bearing which sit on the shaft. I dont know if this is correct?
RB30 Part No - NSK-6151ST
RD2.8TD Part No - NSK-7130ST
Could someone please give us a hand with this?
