I currently have my Scangauge mounted on the window suction mount, but am a little sick of it falling off with weather changes, and the cable hanging around loosely.

So time has come to mount it to a more permanent location.

Has anyone done a more permanent installation for their gauge?
Love to see and hear what you've done.

I mounted my scan gauge with double sided tape down a little lower than the pic above only due to the fact that the cowling is slightly rounded and the gauge kept moving. I have it further down towards the dash gauges where its flat and havent had any more issues.

Hello Guey, your signature says "ZD30 DI Owner and Proud" and you have a Scangauge? Does that work with DI's. I am looking at buying something similar but the only option seems to be ECUTALK.

Hey m4tho, an ecutalk is your only option for the di.
I've had an engine conversion done a few weeks ago and run the scangauge now instead of ecutalk.

Will have to get a mod to change the sig for me. Sorry for the confusion.

I have mine mounted with double sided tape at the top of the storage pocket in the top centre of the dash, I have my auber digital EGT gauge mounted in there also - all neatly hidden away when that spring loaded door is closed.
