Hi all, I would like to remove the silver trim on top of the console but I'm unsure if this can be accomplished without having to remove the complete console. Any tips would be much appreciated. Thanks.

on my auto 3 corners would lift but the 4th was held down by a screw. just remove the screw on each side and the one under the ash try and the middle will lift up the hardest part had was removing the gear shifter nob

In the parts listing & the workshop manual it shows the front console section as being in in one piece

It may come apart but i would remove the whole section and have a look underneath to see what holds it on instead of trying to pull it apart in the vehicle and risk breaking it
