After working out what a persistent rattle in the front fender was (a piece of wood someone had left in there from the snorkel install I assume), for what reason I don't know! Any way was just wondering if the silicon used to seal the the snorkel is any thing specific, the stuff on there was a black looking silicon.

its called silkaflex, buy it from bunning 17 bucks a tube

Or get Permatex sensor safe silicone from Bursons for $10.
