Goats are the second best pets to have after dogs. We've had a few over the years.

1 out of 12. I'm not a goat lover but give it time. Hmmm explains why I like to see goat pink mist on a early bushwalk.:)

Know where you're coming from, I love goats generally with a little cross on the forehead
Tend to look closer at them with my mate Mr Ruger or Mr Sako:D

All I envy of them is their nads. As the lads in Monty Python once said... "where'd ya get those coconuts?":p

As the W C Fields quote goes "do you like children mr Fields ? --- boiled or fried ? "came the

response. Was once lent a goat [captured feral] to "mow" the back yard,it's name--Barbie.

I've loved plenty of goats when they've got the crosshairs of my .270 on their chest, fcuked em good! Also when the butt of a 1/2 grown goats in the camp oven along with some extra fat, potatoes, pumpkin, etc........yum,yum.

Geez. I only got 1/12.

Am I still eligible to be a member here?

Goat's leg in a camp oven is YUM. I'm no hunter, never had the opportunity to learn, but a mate used to go up to his uncle's place a bit somewhere near Meekatharrra and I'd eagerly await his return with a goat's leg.

Not sure if it's an urban myth but supposed to be a very lean meat. Certainly very tender and just falls off the bone :)

Hmm.

Well I just scored a big fat zippo.
So I'm going to go out and shoot a goat. I'm no hunter either (don't even own a gun ) so I don't know how I'm going to do that yet.
I'll give you the legs off it leethal.
I may as well shoot a pig while I'm at it so I can eat pork belly tonight.
