hey guys, i have used the search function and found some great advice on doing a swivel hub rebuild.
however, when people refer to the inner axel seal do they mean - the small seal at the entrance to the swivel hub - or the seal near the diff (pumkin)??

so, does the axel tube between the diff and swivel have diff oil in it or should it be 'dry'??

as mentioned, its the seal at the end of the axle tube. FYI, if its leaking, as one of mine was, also check the sealing surface on the axle isn't worn. Mine was, had to put it back together only to have the new seat chewed up again. Replaced the axle and again new seal and has been good for ages now. Fortunately this seal is cheap as chips from a bearing shop.
