So I blew the head gasket on my tb42 gas turbo a while back, found the head (from a donor engine, had done maybe 50km on this combo) was warped so that was replaced too.
Now I've got it all back together, and today it has a steady oil drip coming from the turbo drain barb on the sump. It's always had a slow drip, maybe 3-4 drops a week. Today is a drop every few seconds.
I suspect coolant, I filled the whole 5l coolant bottle plus 2x5l demineralised water, and it still wasn't full. But how? Warped block allowing coolant into oil galleries?

Ok, so what would accelerate the oil leak without the engine running?

1st thing i would do is drain the oil and see if there is water in it.if motor hasn't run oil will float on top of water,if its been running it will be creamy-weak coffee colour

you could have a crack in a water jacket

if yr motor is cactus i have one with a cylinder down on pressure(suspect broken ring) and would swap for yrs as i only want the rods for a tb45 turbo build.i think throwin a 2nd hand piston and rings in it out of yr motor with yr head and a new gasket and you would be laughin

Ok, so what would accelerate the oil leak without the engine running?

sump being pressurised, breathers on tappet cover hooked correctly?

Just an update
Block is confirmed cracked.
I drained the sump, about 13l oil coolant mixture
The in some more water, checked the sump again and it was full
/sigh
