On a 4.8 while the head was off I would definitely get all the valve clearances done. So much easier off the car. Actually doing the head gasket shouldn't be to hard! It's just a basic twin cam motor. Nothing to fancy. The last head gasket I did was a 4.2 TB. That took about 6 hours to put back on and torque up. The 4.8 would be a bit longer but still not to bad.

Yeah, going to make sure, there is stock of the tb head just in case I need that also

Yes I do. You want the head stuff I'm assuming. It's at home but. It'll be a couple of days till I can get it
