I just realised that i have been using a Z411 oil filter all these years when it's meant to be Z547. The Z411 is only $13 where the Z547 is now $30.
Today i'm trying a mobil 1 filter as it was cheaper than the Ryco.

PS: I have actually used Nissan filters a few times so i'm not exactly sure how i got onto the wrong one.

Looking online there seems to be a slight size difference. Mine has never leaked or had issues

Ok, thought that one had the non return valve and the other didn’t. Only a slight difference in size, with regular oil changes wouldn’t matter, at least that’s what the consensus was on a Honda forum that came up in my google search.

Yeah both have the valve. I wonder why the 100% price difference?

Can you cut them open to compare, maybe the amount of filtration is significantly greater in one. 🤔 Clutching at straws I am. 🙄

Im trying a mobil 1 filter this time. I can't see them changing inside much!

I use the Z411 on my son’s Honda Civic 1.8. It’s a pretty small filter.

Yeah but physically the same as the z547. Same filter on 4.5, 4.8 and y62 5.6L

Yeah I remember changing one on the vk56 and thought that it was tiny

The Z547 is all I've used for all of my oil changes. I doubt there would be any problems with using the other filter. The TB is fairly light on the oil

I’ve only ever used genuine Nissan filters from Nizzbits. Cheap insurance IMO.
