I recently bough at gq td42, only mod is extractors. It blows quite a lot of black smoke under acceleration and uses more fuel than my other gq td42. It is also a lot quicker than my other td42. Is it possible to wind out the fuel screw alittle myself? It also runs about halfway on the temp gauge

Ye it is, easily done, on the back of the pump you have 2 screws, one in direct contact with the throttle assembly and one into the body, the one into the body of the pump is your fuel screw, the other your idle.
Wind the screw in for more fuel and out for less, wind it back just a touch, lock it off and take it for a test drive, you want a little smoke during acceleration but not an ash cloud
