Well this is the second time in a row that I have overflowed a 12 litre oil tray whilst changing the oil. This is rather concerning considering last change was 10 litres of magnatec with 2 new filters. The oil is still jet black but feels thin. The engine runs fine and doesn't blow smoke. I fitted a Walbro FRD11 lift pump about 40000k's ago.

Can the IP leak internally through the engine or could it be an injector leaking after shutdown? I have saved some of the oil and plan on sending off a sample for testing. Just after some opinions where I should start looking as the ute is my daily driver.

It's not water so it has to be fuel.
Does the oil smell any different?
How many Km's does it take to make the extra amount of oil?

Can't smell the diesel. 5000km oil changes.
