G'day everyone
A ti pump has come up for sale close to me and the bloke was running it on a silvertop with a hobb switch off the intake manifold to control the timing.
I'm just wondering if the timing needs to be a more high tec or is it as simple as on off?
If it is controlled by varrying voltages could I simply get 2 hobb switches one say for 4psi and one for 10psi set them up in sequence and reduce the voltage output from the first to 6v and then have the 10psi output 12v?
I have read some people have custom controllers and ecus but I am not interested in spending $1000s right now
i currently have a 10mm pump so this being 11mm and compensated might be a handy upgrade for me until I can spend the $2600 on a ufi 11mm

Thanks everyone

You guys know what your doing in this area do you have any info if the advance is progressive with voltage over the rev range or is on and off going to work?
Thanks

No it is not progressive, as the the valve is pulse width modulated, all you will end up with is no timing or full timing.
