The second rate hack nails it again.

And this can be applied to McGowan in WA as well. The cult of McGowan here supports his call for ankle monitors on innocents placed into mandatory isolation, the removal of all rights when it comes to initiating legal proceedings or claims against the state and the list continues to grow. And if you say one word you will be hammered by which ever social media you care to pick.

It is the polar divisions in politics over the last 13 odd years that is going to destroy us.

Quote;
It is startling to contemplate that in this day and age a political class believes that pledging fervent allegiance to a higher power will make plague and pestilence disappear.

This psychology is no more sophisticated than Aztec priests performing human sacrifices or Southern tent-church evangelists praying the gay away.

This almost schizophrenic irrationality hit full fever-pitch during Four Corners’ forensic investigation into Victoria’s hotel quarantine fiasco. As failing after failing was exposed, hard left luvvies who would once have laid down their lives for an ABC cake stall were now accusing Aunty of being a mouthpiece for the Liberal Party.

Yet were this not absurdist enough, the same people then championed the same show as it exposed the federal government’s chronic failures in aged care. Apparently reporting on the Victorian government is right-wing propaganda while reporting on the federal government is Walkley-worthy journalism.

But this madness is not limited to the lunar left. The Cult of Dan (or the cult of McGowan. DB) is rivalled only in its slavish devotion by the Cult of Don.

...

The real point is there are millions of Victorians who have been socially, economically and psychologically crippled by a brutal lockdown that was necessary only because of his government’s dysfunction. And it is passing strange that self-proclaimed socialists demand sympathy for a head of government on half-a-million dollars a year while telling the poor, the jobless and the disabled they need to suck it up and stop whinging.

That is not a community, that is a cult, and it is as deranged and irrational as any other cult on the planet, be it Trump or Corbyn or Koresh.

Pandemic more dangerous than COVID

He's been working on this for a while now. He was doing the rounds of the chat shows a month or so ago on something or other, couldn't be bothered listening to the loser.

Had his teeth done and appears to have had elocution lessons. Just needs a brain transplant, he could use Sarah H-Y’s, she’s not using it.

Well they could of came here to do that..
I would of let them know where they stand..

Quoted from the article:

The group was a most ordinary social network platform on which members used to share jokes and funny memes, photos of personal excursions, fishing trips or drinks, and repost newspaper articles," he wrote.

"The allegation that the group had been purported as a means of influence is simply preposterous.

End quotation:::

What a load of BS.. do they really expect us to believe that???

It wouldn't surprise me if the recent crackdown on Aussie journalists in China was a pre-emptive strike because of this operation. The sooner people stop mincing around using diplomatic language and call these hypocritical wankers exactly that the better.

Finally moved to Qld. Staying with a mate in Cooran till I find a place to buy. Mate says I can stay as long as I like, and his partner is happy with that, given that I do my bit and cook, clean, mow etc (it's a nursery on 6 acres, so there is lots of mowing lol).

Any who, I am not sure it will last as "long as I want". Both he and his partner are long time laborites and I have been pointing out the lies and hypocrisy that palawhateverhernameis is spouting via the press. He's getting a little upset lol.

The biggest is the "our borders will remain closed to protect Queenslanders". (Note plural)

Err not true Mrs Forked Tounge (easier that typing her name)

Qld has 4 borders, Qld/NT, Qld/SA, Qld/NSW and only one of those are closed. I drive across the Qld/NT border and the cop who only took a picture of my vehicle plate was more interested in the boat I was towing. Given that I had WA plates one can "assume" that he "assumed" that I came from WA and did not slip across the NSW/SA border somewhere in my very capable 4x4... No questions about hotspots, coughs, runny noses etc etc.

And the locals are lapping it up apparently. I was asked to take mates partners mother down to an eye clinic in Maroochydore. The clinic rang the mother and asked how she was getting there and she replied "a nice man who just came over from WA is bringing me".

And the shyte hit the fan...

How did he get in through the closed "borders", why isn't he in isolation, the authorities need to be alerted immediately yadda yadda yadda.

So I rang them and this know nothing receptionist went to town on me. I informed her that her Premier is lying to her as all Qld borders are not closed.

She would not have a bar of it so I called her a cretin and hung up.

I was at a shopping centre in Gympie (you can guess which one, as I think it's the only one lol) and some old busy body got all in my face over my WA licence plates, wanting to know how I got there and why was not in isolation etc etc as "we all know the borders are closed". Again, my quip that her Premier is lying to the public on TV did not go down well. She took the licence plate number and said she was going to notify the police. "Good luck with that" was my parting shot...

Hang on, I hear you say, I mentioned 4 borders. Yep, there is another. It's call the international border. And this is where the real hypocrisy comes in. That border, along with the Qld/NSW border, is only closed to those who the Premier and Chief Medical Officer says it's closed to.

Tom Hanks has just flown back in, as well as the producers, cast and crew of the movie they are shooting. The waiver was given through federal border force at the request of the Qld chief medical officer because they were in "isolation" on the film set. And that is BS, I know someone, my mates son who is a chippy on the set, is going home each night...

And then we have the +400 AFL players and officials who have come in from THE hotspot (Vic). The reason they were exempt, money. Don't believe me, look it up. The chief medical officer is on record saying that she gave the exemptions because the Qld govt needs every penny they can get. And they breach isolation and get into fights with the public.

Meanwhile, several people have been refused entry to be with dying relatives and children, and are extremely unlikely to get into fights in the street or Kanan shops, seems they just aren't rich enough...

Lies and BS, must be an election coming up, one that she was predicted to lose, till the covid lifeline came along...

Excuse spelling and grammar, first time I have written so much on a phone. I miss my computer lol

I'm only going to deregister from WA and register in Qld, after the Qld election.

That way I can avoid voting in two elections where Labor is going to get back in on the sole basis of using an epidemic that is killing people as an election ploy...

Hmm, never heard of Cooran. I check out Google and see it's near Pomona and that I've driven through it in the past without any lasting memory of the place. I know Pomona though and it's a nice place. It has the cutest country theatre I've ever been in. Nice countryside and nice weather. There are certainly worse places you could have picked to spend some time in. Welcome to Queensland.

I have been coming here for years. Mate owns a nursery in Cooran for 18 years. I usually turn up twice a year. Before that he had a nut farm in Cootharaba, I drilled and completed the water bore on that 30 years ago. First surfed Noosa in 1974
Another mate has been in Tewantin for 43 years. We all went to boarding school together in WA and all came over here on surfing surfing trips many times before I chased a career in oil. I know this area very well, I put a house on a block in Pamona 30 years ago and rented it out before selling it in 1994. I met my new lady at the new year party at Booren Point. Can probably tell you guys about the area lol.

The only reason I did not move here permanently as a home base a very long time ago was because the ex could not take the humidity. And the only reason I am moving to Bundy instead of here is because I am a notorious tight arse and refuse to pay the Noosa hinterland tax. It's like the LandCruiser tax, but much, much worse. Bugger me, have you checked out the council rates here lately? The only words that describes it is state sanctioned theft...

Nothing wrong with Bundy but you have to spend your money on something. Just live where you want to and what it costs is what it costs.
