OMG, one would hope that voters, regardless of their leanings, vote in the upcoming NSW election on current issues, not something that happened at a fancy dress party over 20 years ago.
Doms problems run a bit deeper than what he wore 20 years ago. Usually pollys have a spell over the Xmas break but not the NSW libs.

He was tapped on the shoulder Tuesday night about the costume issue by his Transport minister David Elliott. The pair have been brawling about gambling reforms.

"Elliott, a director of the Castle Hill RSL and former executive at the NSW Australian Hotels Association, thinks the laws go too far." His son also works for Aristocrat, a gambling machines giant.

An odd time for Dom to come clean...........

Dom has said he will remain Premier come rain, heil or shine.

As said, I would hope voters base voting on today not events over 20 years back. Have been following the 'stirrer' who isn't standing at the next election anyway, 'How Much Damage Can I Do To My Party Before I Retire' seems to be his policy.

The more so called finance 'experts' talk about 'recession' the more likely it is to happen when citizens react through panic rather than thought.

Maybe there is a bit of an agenda, someone from the government has a little whisper in some journo’s ear, just to start the ball rolling. A recession would give the government a chance to implement some stuff to save the economy.
Yes, I’m looking at you Swan. 🤬

Norm,
You are asking Australians to vote in a referendum on an Aboriginal Voice to Parliament, you made a big speech on it today saying it won't do this and it won't do that, but you will not give detail on the proposal and what it will actually do.

96.7% of Australians are not Aboriginal so you are asking them to vote on something that may impact on us in some way shape or form without detail, until you do us the courtesy of the detail it is a NO from me.

Between Albo and Bowen, there is less brainpower than a kindergarten kid. I never thought there would be a PM with less intelligence than the krudd. I was wrong.

I don't understand why everyone wants more detail. What Albo intends to legislate is irrelevant.

If this referendum passes, the only thing permanent is the fact that this body will exist. Unless a specific restriction is enshrined in the constitution at the same referendum, every other aspect will be decided by legislation, and/or judicial decisions (inevitably the High Court).

Legislation is subject to the whims of future governments; so unless you know who will end up legislating what in the future, and what precedents may be decided by unknown judges around those unknown future legal challenges....

We are being asked to vote on something with no detail, I'm sorry that isn't good enough for me so it will be a no, that stance makes sense to me. The detail should be spelled out on the voting form.

Detail of the proposed constitutional change will be provided. Everything else (the legislation governing the makeup, powers, budget, etc. of the "Voice") is so subject to change after the referendum that it's irrelevant.
