Onya Tony, keep up the good work.........

The WA election this weekend will be very interesting from many perspectives, Do they believe Tony? Do they back Tony? Does Palmer have a future (this could be his swan song as a party)? Do they believe Shorten? Will the minors get back in and will the Greens survive there?

These and many other questions will be answered by Monday :).

haha in other words, insider canberra centric divorced from reality propellerheads lacking in common sense who were not able to make it to the SES level in the public service?
?? Actually I got to Branch Head - that was SES Level in the old days. But hey, I guess you'll have some breathtaking irrelevant rejoinder to that as well. You seem to struggle with people from canberra - which is irrelevant as I'm not from canberra - and I spent half my life working outside of canberra - and a third of my working life overseas - you know, getting broad experience outside the village....

France, a broke basket case run by a cheating mentally unstable socialist who is barely able to keep the failed african migration experiment under control should be teaching us things? A lecture from him should be a hoot!

that would be the same france that convinced a liberal state govt to lease their water for 99 years when the population of the state voted against selling it off - and where water prices have gone through the roof.

the french are universally acknowledged as being the masters of buying other countries utilities and making a handsome profit

WTF has migration got to do with selling off public utilities or do you want to bring in a whole lot of spurious other material to have a spray as well? Perhaps we can talk about concorde and the contents of bagels as well - those bloody french must have had it in for bakers and engineers, so I'm sure we can link that into Australian politics if you're given a few more extra seconds to draw and establish an association....

geez uz if you want to reinforce that you're idealogically unhinged then congratulations, you've convinced me....

I didn't realise that every french leader since WW2 was mentally unstable and a socialist - I must go back and study french history again. There are obviously gaps in my knowledge about post ww2 french history....

You come across as a typical crow eating permanently winging pom, and I do not think anything any government did would satisfy you.

Ahh and we are back to name calling and disregarding anyone's opinion which is not the same as yours. I guess it is the NLP leadership mantra, Tony seems to be doing a bit of that lately.
Im happy when the govt does their job and does whats right for the country.

So far - pissing our norther neighbours off by sending our navy ships into their waters, hiding the "stop the boats" costs and numbers of boats coming into the country, bringing back knights and dames, proposing to reduce the aged pension, breaking international human rights laws (both turning back refugees without processing them, and taking away legal assistance), fobbing off the NBN, suggesting to sell off all our assets, blocking gay marriage, not negotiating with big business to keep jobs in the country... and spending at a rate greater than labour was.... yeah.. ill be happier when all that stops.. Should those "achievements" satisfy me? Do they satisfy you?

You know what assumptions do?

But if it makes you feel better, to be a bigger man to call people names, go ahead, the endorphins will make you feel good for a while.

Dronus, you missed the various 'conflict of interest' and expenditure rorting, the concept of a Speaker who is a card-carrying party member, rejection of the Gonski educational reforms without even reading them, promotion of bigotry as a right all Australians should 'enjoy' - and as for that guaranteed 'clear and transparent government' ...

Refrain from making it personal please. The bus is waiting for anyone who can't manage their emotions in an adult fashion.

Well, he does have prior form......

if unable to debate the issue attack the individual
if unable to debate the issue chuck out stereotypes
if unable to debate the issue become abusive
if unable to debate the issue try and belittle the other side with meaningless twaddle
if unable to debate the issue introduce new items that are not even tangential to the original debate
if unable to debate the issue then puff and prance about.

always fascinates me to see people having a need to have a crack at someone elses background as if that's going to have an influence on the outcome of the debate.

Apparently you're NFG if you haven't worked in the private sector - and when you have worked in the private sector - or even run your own business - then its conveniently and studiously ignored.

goose - meet gander

btw, has anyone pointed out that the BER was developed by an adviser who'd worked in private industry (including a stint at NINEMSN) ..... not a public servant, and especially pointed when the public service sought checks and balances on the scheme, Newspapers have been spectacularly quiet on that revelation.....

Is spending beyond our means an issue now?

I do also question that the LNP is spending at a greater rate than Labor.... Have any statistics on this?

Nothing solid but I do recall an independent costingcof promises from both sides and Libs being roughly the same as ALP.

No doubt the gold plated parental leave scheme combined with the assimilated (to greatly increase the chance of a solid majority as heaven forbid Abbott be put in a position he has to negotiate with anyone) Gonski and NDIS have a lot to do with it.

Probably of little interest to most here, but this article suggests that the QLD LNP has about as much respect for women as the Federal LNP:

Chairman replaces chairperson in legislation

And about as much respect for due process - no consultation, we'll just change it to suit our needs.

In other news, due to vehicle emissions, vehicle related injury and death and a surpless of trained coach builders. Australia is set to progress to a more environmentally friendly, safe and culturally improved transport network.

Oh yeah and the libs have monopoly on that HaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHa .

Former premier Ted Theodore argued the upper house was a constraint on the progressive ideas of the Labor-controlled lower house.

Useless trivia, someone with nothing better to do, one day worked out that if the horse and cart had not been replaced by the motor vehicle when it was, Mother England would today be covered in Horse S*** to a depth of 1 metre. How environmentally friendly is that?:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:
