Would someone post up a photo of the timing marks on TD42T Y60 Safari engines. The pre '94 non turbo flywheels have 2 timing marks. The '94 TD42T Safari I have has only one. I would have to think this mark is TDC.

If someone has a photo or can take a photo of the timing mark on the block of mid '90s series TD42T with the mark(s) on the flywheel I would appreciate.

timing marks

Hi twinotter , correct later turbo engines do only have one timimg mark on the harmonic balancer/damper and the corresponding mark is a line cast into the timing case cover , quite difficult to see but it's there between the balancer and the injector pump drive gear cover.

Thanks BIGE, I see I called the front the back (Flywheel). Used to aircraft engines.....

I had no problem seeing the mark on the harmonic balancer/damper and what I think is the thin mark on the block. The one on the block is hard to see for me.
