Hi there

I have a GU and a GQ. I had 33 12.5 16 cooper stt tyres on my GQ. Factory 275 65 17 on GU. I thought I'd swap them but the stt's rub on the nissan alloy bar. (plastic back) and on the mud flaps whilst turning. I don't have any lift kits fitted. I was wondering if a 2" suspension lift would solve my problem. Can anyone offer me suggestions besides getting the old hacksaw out.

Regards
Dave

If they rub at standard height, they will rub with 2" lift also at full flex. They will rub still even if you put a 6" lift in at full flex. What offset are your rims? Maybe do a bit of massaging of the back of your bullbar...
