yeah patrol28, just a play tyre!! since the lift i havent run swaybars until recent!! thats when i installed the rear sway cause supposibly you dont need fronts because of the arms!! but it drives ok with the cheese cutters!!

sim79 i havent taken it off road as of yet because i have had so many dramas getting the treps to fit!! but all good now!! its maiden voyage is this weekend so ill take some pics and upload monday!!

B18C the rims look tops!! once they got beadlocked i had them sand blasted and powder coated, so hopfully they last and dont rust too easy!! haha

Nissan Kid thanks mate!! is taken a while but it finaly all works together!!:D

jacket thanks bud!! i decided to do mine before we take ownership of our block!! good luck if you are to do one!! 4b fab did it for me!!

House the flares are the origianal one just cut out on the rear and it has flexy flare added!!

Tys 87 I'm jelous.and the tyres are just pure sex.Is your insurance ruled void if you have an accident and dont have an airbag compatable bar as im thinking of going that way with the millweld.Regards Steve

In regards to the insurance issue, its highly unlikely the insurance company or even the police would know every single 4wd product and whether its "airbag compatible" or not.
Ive had a claim where i damaged the bullbar in an accident and they just took pics and replaced it with another bar of my choosing, noone asked any questions about compliance certifications for the different bullbars I was looking at.

Also, the statement that it isnt airbag compatible would most likely refer to the fact it has not been ADR tested and complianced which is far too costly for a small volume item like Millweld front bar.

yeah thats crossed my mind also but with so much money invested in this car i would hate for it to be void!! after talking with mill (millweld) he said the only thing diff between compatible and non is that non will go off EARLIER!! because its steel plates dont crumble (not sure if thats the correct terminology) like compatibe ones!!

How did the trip go? Are you happy with the set up?

Congrats....great looking rig.:punkrock:

BTW airbags are basically triggered by inertia switches, so bullbar mounts etc have little or no effect. Overall speed has more to do with when the airbag comes between you and the steering wheel.
