Hello, I am new to Patrols, and in the UK. I'm a powerplant engineer so hope to bring something to the forum once I've mastered the patrol and been educated by this forum. I paid £1000 for a 1998 3dr 2.8td 122K miles which is a bit ropey on the outside (farm vehicle/shooting) but spot on mechanically, this seemed like a decent price (through a friend).

There doesn't seem to be much of a presence in the uk, especially for parts, anyone know of any UK members or people over here. The car came with a nice roof rack which I would like to sell.

I need two rear upper light clusters, but they're £80 a pair over here!

I will use it for off roading/ green laning (providing it will fit!) and have some 33" insa turbos ready to go on. The problem is sourcing a suspension lift kit in the UK as they do not seem to exist, if anyone can help. I think a 3" lift should do it, just shocks, springs and brake lines?

Welcome to the forum!

You will find endless information on here regarding your new Patrol.

Finding suspension is the easy bit, getting it over to the UK is the harder bit.

There are quite a few European Patrol owners on here and they should be able to assist with getting parts more locally.

As Justin said, there are quite a few of us over here and I'm sure that someone closer to you will pop up soon. Try Ebay for some of your spare parts etc. There are a number of breakers who specialise in Nissan vehicles who advertise on there. Just as a matter of interest, why do you need the rear light clusters?

Try asking Simon Buck at Devon 4x4...they've done Patrol stuff. Bear in mind that the UK specs like lights etc can be different to other parts of the world.
