Hello,

Going to get 3" exhaust done and in the meantime some questions.

Are there any traps I should be careful with when unbolting dump pipe off the turbo? I heard that bolts/nuts can easily be snapped. It's a T28 flange (RD28T).
Any tips to do this without problems?

One more question is what's the purpose of these cuts in flange's eyes?

Thanks.

soak the bolts in penetrating oil (crc/wd40/inox etc ). i don't know that motor but often they are titanium bolts. unfortunately they have a habit of picking up, jamming together, and then you end up snapping them off. once you get the nut to move, soak it again and work the bolt back and forth.

no idea about the cuts, maybe its because its just one long cut around the outside. ie machine doesn't start stop for each hole.

They're probably just expansion joints.

And/or they could be to help with the laser cutting process by profiling the outside and bolt holes in one hit.
