Hi guys,

This is doing my head in and I should be leaving for a trip tomorrow!!
My mixer is a 300a series 1 and 20 mounted in the box as pictured. Searching the new it seems the A31 is the filter for the 300a however I bought one today and it sits maybe 5mm to high causing an air gap between the top of mixer and where the black bonnet screws down! The old filter was an A31 but cut and squashed to fit. Eyeballing it seems like its designed for a shorter filter but with larger diameter as its a large box. Any ideas??

All the ones I've seen or tuned I've had to cut the inner ring off the filter with a razor blade or Stanley knife, then seal them up with some salastic or grease to get them to sit properly
