Hi guys
Bit or a random question. .. but here goes.

I have a roof top tent mounted onto a steel frame over some tradies tool boxes on the back if my ute and I also have a tray where the spare is mounted underneath.

What I am wondering is can I remove the spare wheel carrier from underneath and drop the tray a bit lower???
My worry is that if I lower the tray the tyres will rub on the tray???

Does anyone know what the minimum distance is between the top of the chassis rail in the wheel arch and the bottom of the tray??

Would probably help to note that I have a gu ute with 2" lift, no body lift and will be running 33" in the future.

I doubt it will touch the tray, but to be sure you should measure your rear suspension travel. Have a look at what clearance you have at the bumpstop. I think you would be able to lower the tray a bit without getting less clearance than the stop has.
