Well here we go I finally have all of the bits to fit my VH45 into to the Patrol.

I got Marks 4WD Adaptors to make the kit up for me now its all go.

Within the nxt couple of days I will hopefully have it bolted in place ready to get the extractors and exhaust made up and fitted.

Ill put some pics up along the way.

Apparently they fit in old pathfinders too, that would be fun.

keep us posted with pics, good choice in motor. We built some serious ones at NIZPRO for ski race boats HUUUUUUGGGGE grunt. Will u use the factory sump? or does it fowl the cross member?
Do you want to offload the auto? Im after one for my next project

Here are some pics of what I have done so far.

These engines are an extremely tight fit.

So far the eninge mounts have only been tac welded into place the engine will be getting removed in the next week or so to weld the engine mounts in properly.

Just got the engine bolted in a couple of weeks ago. Now have to make all of the accessories on the engine fit in the little space that I have I.E. alternator, ps pump and ac compressor. Then custom build extractors and exhaust system and wire up.

Ive done a few conversions over the years, 265 chrysler into patrol, 351 into a merc.

They always start out easy but can get very tedious toward the end.

Haven't done much lately extractors and sump have been made. Gas system has been removed and rear fuel tank has been bolted back in. Still need to hose up fuel tank just gotta find some picks on how all the hoses go. Will be modifying oil filter housing to make fit this week. Probably have to cut and screw in fittings, then remote mount oil filter. Then just got wiring, alt and ps pump so it is coming along.

There is a guy with one of these in a Silvia, Massive T04z turbo on it, custom plenum, makes 550rwhp, so if you ever get sick of the grunt, there's and option
