G'day all,
Just wondering if anyone out there would have a couple of front brake lines for a 89 GQ td42? Mine has developed a leak and can't seem to find a second hand one around here.

Where are you located? I have a feeling I might have one lying in the patrol if you are in brisbane I'll go have a look but you should be able to just take yours to a brake shop and they will make one up for you.

otherwise get a couple new from Nizzbits on here. Garry will help you out. Or go to a hose shop and get them to make you one.

honestly the last one i did on my car cost me 20 bucks trade brand new from a brake shop.
i wouldnt even bother stuffing round with a second handie as they are probably similar age and condition to yours now and you will be doing the same thing in the not to distand future.

Pirtek can't legally do them, well in nsw anyway. Was talking to my local pirtek man when I was living down that way and he said while no doubt they can make them unless it is going onto a paddock basher that will only be used on private land he cannot make one. Said he use to be able to make them legally but for some reason something changed.

I had it repaired in Tamworth NSW about 2, 3 year ago not sure. I took it off and took it to them and they replaced it with new bits. Makes you wonder why they cannot now if your info is correct. They are a hydraulic specialist makes you wonder.
