My auxillary battery shat itself and spewed acid everywhere. I think it's the wastegate actuator has now got holes around the edge at the end where the vacum hose atatches from the acid. Seems to be running fine, could this be a problem?

You should probably make sure its holding vacuum/boost, if it bleeds off some of the boost pressure in the line, the gate actuator may see less boost than the engine, and this can sometimes result in a overboost situation.

if in dout replace it i couldnt amangine that a waste gate soliniod would be that costly
that will insure you dont have issuses down the track with over boosting in the middle of no where
and towin a car because of it
