G'day fellas, as most people are aware it has been pissing down rain id sunny old QLD lately and i have noticed that the drivers and front passengers side floor mats have been getting wet when the car sits in the rain. I have not had a chance to have a look yet but was wondering if anyone else knew where this was coming from?

I'd be putting money on the windscreen seal

My mates does the same, sometimes there's a puddle on the floor mate. It's due to the window seal leaking. They shrink and get gaps in them

I had similar prob, on the passenger side on the mat i had water, i just replaced my cracked windscreen and rubber and all good. No leak! So i would have a real good look at the seal around your screen.

I replaced my windscreen seal a month ago it cost $230 for a genuine seal, in SA.

On the GU's the most common cause is through the rubber grommet in the firewall where we push wires through.

That depends if the windscreen needs replacing also or the screen doesnt get broken while doin the seal
Screen seals can be had of evilbay anywhere from $60 and beyond

Mine was an insurance job and I just paid for the genuine seal. Labour was covered by the insurance. I don't remember how much the seal was but it would have been a lot more if I'd had to pay for labour. If you need to replace your screen this is worth keeping in mind.
