Guys, i've got a 2000 Coil Cab and the clutch pedal just started making a weird noise in the cabin.
Basically, it creaks loudly, and seems like the clutch is not engaging propery, releases no problem.
I have no leaks anywhere, although the fluid is old. If i pump the pedal heaps, till the noise nearly goes away, it works fine, but if i just release it the first time it's like it stocks just off the flywheel, causing it to slip.
Crap time for it to happen too, when no shops are open and i have to head back out bush on wednesday, as i'm only in town for the weekend.

cheers

Sounds like you'd better stay in town till the garage opens mate.
You could flush the fluid, if your able. Gravity bleed.

Bit of an update.

Clutch worked perfectly whilst in town, so i thought it may have been an isolated incident, as i hardly drive it anymore, got work cars.
On the way back home from town it did it the same thing again.
I'm thinking it might be the fluid, as i've had the car 5 years and haven't changed it. Plus, it seems to happen only when it's been running for a while, as in the exhaust is heating the slave cylinder. Doesn't explain the noise in the cabin though.
Will change the fluid first, then master and slave if that doesn't work.

Any more input or ideas would be handy.

Cheers
