Spent the day with friends that also had enough of Sydney and moved to Coffs last year. Went to one of the local markets this morning, then the wives went shopping while we had a pre lunch beer at the pub. Then went to Nambucca for a pub lunch and a walk out along the breakwall after. Too much activity for one day, so now sitting on the lounge having my afternoon coffee, might have to have a Nana nap after.

Remember yellow box and red box when we were living in the cold climes and burning up to 8T of wood a year keeping the inside of our 600mm thick rock walls warm.

An 1860 church we bought and renovated, lived in it for 7 years before moving to QLD, we had our own cemetery. Minus 14c the coldest we experienced at an elevation of 960m, will never do that again.

Started drinking Jim Beam Black aged when beer was gone..
