i think you might be right mikeh, i just like the style so even if its similar it will do. decision time

allied rims as mentioned
procomp rockcrawlers with beadlocks
evanswalker beadlocks
or MT classic locks

price factor might play a part.

price size and supplier on those rims mikeh??

The look like Easter Wheel Works, MT classic locks are not beadlocks, get alloy beadlocks they are easier to balance.

16x8 they are available in other sizes too.
I got mine from "4x4 And More" Balcatta, Perth. Talk to Russell 9443 4848. I bought 6 with tyres and I got a bit of a deal so I'll not post the price here.

They are a bit heavy for alloy wheels but they have a very strong looking inner bead which would be close to 10mm thick at the base of it and the outer locking ring is rather substantial.
They are made in China but what isn't these days?

I only have a single bare rim at the moment because we're putting some big brakes together for my new diff. The aim is to stuff a 4 pot caliper inside a 16 inch rim with a rotor almost as big as a 4.8 GU. When I pick the rest up and put them on the car I'll post a couple of pics.
