bought it 6 weeks ago..
since buying it, hav spent,
$500 at the auto leccy, check over, wiring clean up, cluster rebuild and all new senders.
$700 at the mechanics, all fluids, filters etc, new brakes, engine mounts and repaired a factory weld in the rear diff..


now the mods start

1 gq tb42 auto 45,000 km body ruff, but no rust. factory sunroof and diff lock. $1300 with spare motor and auto.

2 gq not sure what nick it was in, at a guess pretty ruff $600

3 gq front smashed in a bit was used in a atm smash and drag/police chase $500

Bought the 99 GU ST Wagon 4.2L TD with 2" lift, 3" Exhaust, 12psi boost with inj pump tune to match, Safari Snorkel and Factory Ally front Bar.
Paint work was close to pristine, had one small area affected by battery acid. interior still very nice for the age. 233,000km

Very happy with it. Had pristine paint until some trees were close to the track on Fraser and she now has some minor scratches, but as I tell the wife who was freaking out at the time, what is the point of having a 4wd and expecting not to scratch it.

GQ RD28T ST II 1995
Red, stock as a rock. ST rims. Tow bar, fuel tank guard power windows an mirrors. Interior very clean for age, very slight wearing all over. Few slight creases in panels, paint in good nick. Very happy with what I paid for it, wasn't cheap but not overcharged, insurance valued for $12500.
312000 on clock, motor in good nick. Oil leak around turbo, seemed to be in the inlet pipe. Tightened up loose clamps an yet to clean up.
