Can someone please bring this to light for me, I have searched and searched but cannot find exactly what the "G" stands for on a TD05 turbo i.e. 16G, 18G, 20G. From what I can gather it's to do with the size of the compressor/turbine wheels, is it a measurement?
Thanks.

The turbo experts can go into detail.

Basically yes it's a unique identifier. Relates to the blades on the compressor wheel rather than overall wheel size.

Cheers Zookimal.

So this unique to Mitsubishi turbo's?

Do they use this unit of measurement for the turbine wheel?
