Mate wants to do an overhaul but not sure what engine model it is. Any ideas? RB30 or L28?

well its not l28
l28 have distink looking hump on cam area of rocker cover at front
plus l28 exhaust and inlet manifold are on passenger side

Thanks. This Patrol is LHD, so manifolds are still on passenger side

Certainly not the L28 it looks to be the P40 engine.

Im thinking P40 definately not a RB30.

Theres no listed capacity or engine codes on the compliance plate on the right hand side of the firewall, the little silver plate?

Take the rear axle and get rid of the rest.
This iranian has H260 full floating in rear.
