If any of you are like me, I have always had a strong fascinated for the Roman Empire, just watched a programme called What Killed the Roman Empire, it put a massive amount of info into an hour and a half with a massive change in perspective. I won't spoil it if your interested but overall, climate change in many forms played a very big part, as well as the bad decisions made by some. Very entertaining.

Funny how animals can react to you when you are sick, a dog I had many years ago was so in tune with me she knew my every mood and watched over me like a Hawke. The cat we recently 'inherited' has attuned himself to his new abode fascinatingly, he spends the days with me in the shed etc and in the evenings when we watch TV he lays on my wife's lap while ever she is in that recliner, not with me.

I have been very crook for the last 2 days, last night the wife wanted to watch the Queens funeral, I did for a few hours then I had to go to bed, this was about 9.30pm, my wife came in an hour later to check on me and there was the cat laying beside me with his head directly next to mine, she came to bed at 2.30am and he was still there. Animals, you just never know all things about them!

He loves the patrol, so much he sits beside the doors, if I walk past he looks up and meows, saying come on open the bloody door, when I do he immediately jumps up does a full interior inspection then either lays in the drivers side footwell or on the passenger seat and will stay there for hours, had to turn off the interior lights so it would drain the battery, with the door open.

Gotta love them.

I've met people,a fence post is smarter than 🤣
I think people are smarter than you give them credit for.
30 years in my trade and I thought I literally had seen every way that you could possibly kucf something up.
Along comes generation next and blows all the previous generations out of the water armed with nothing but a screw gun and a will to achieve greatness

Some of the stuff ups achieved could only be done with psychopath type intelligence...

Did some thinning out of one of the gardens yesterday
Christened my new Sthil FS91 . Used a saw blade and went to town in what resembled a tropical rain forest.
The wife thought it was too over grown.
It was a shame be it had its eco system and kept grass etc under control. Even found a lemon tree hiding in there. Admittedly it wasn’t doing so well sheltered by all the larger plants around it.
I have a new hatred for Palm trees !!!

Looking for volunteers to clean up the mess now

There is Sthil lots more cleaning up to do.
