but being so little, being the fittest ever and not being lazy LOL...

thought i'd ask first..

have to change mine,
NEW SET 100%
all bass no treble damn it now , sounds like doof doof mumble mumble .
never thought a stereo could bother me that much.

6inch from memory mate. 6.5inch is a much more common size for after-market speakers like alpine-pioneer etc. you might have to trim a bit of plastic on the back of the shroud, but the standard speaker holes and mounts will be fine for 6.5in

Hey Jacket, i havent bought speakers for a car for nearly 15 years,
i was imagining they may have been either 4 or 6 inch.
But total news to me that they sell 6.5 nowadays, gee how things change.
From memory factory speakers in cars are only 2 way, im guessing the ones in me GU would be 2way too.

One other thing, is the sizing same for front abd back doors?

They are 6 inch have replaced all mine got 6.5s in front splits and 6 inch 4 ways in rear makes a massive difference

From my experience, alpine make nice speakers for the price. its hard to go past 2sets of alpine 'R'types for the price. many sellers combine postage.

hey jazzajess, can i ask, was it straight fit, putting the 6.5's in where the original 6's were??
or will i need to cut, or get another spacer etc??

depends what speakers you get. the screw holes should be in the right spot. . . its just how deep the speaker protrudes with its magnets.

yeh nahh, ive orderred shallow ones just incase, so should be right on the money !
