Wheel offset

Bought a second hand DX (skinny wheel version) with aftermarket alloys which are OK, but I fancy putting black sunraysia's on.

Will probably go to 33x10.5 or 12.5. Rubber flares mean there is plenty of room to move out without causing problems as far as I can see. Couple of inches maybe.
Once I've chosen tire width - say 10.5, is it the rim offset I need to chose carefully to make sure the wheels look right - ie give it a wider stance?

Any problems associated with this (2" lift so shouldn't get scrubbing or anything with only 33s)?

cheers

P.S. Where can I get a new wee valve thing for the back windscreen washer - all the water is leaking out everytime I park on a steep hill facing up the way! (2003 GUIII DX)

I have 285/75 16 on neg 18 (i think) pro comp rims. Also a dx and they sit way, way out, but yeah couple inches should be enough. must get around to flexi flares or similar, but only weekend tyres so no trouble ...yet....
