That is pretty cool. Is that the cicadas i can hear in the background?

Also, one of the most acceptable uses of the F word there in clear context. Lots of people exploit it but that was perfect

I may be wrong here, but I would have thought everyone in the 'drop zone' should be in hi-vis and have hard hats?

When a 2 tonne diesel tank lands on your head...your a busted grape. No amount of hard hats will save you. Also in the briefing between mines manager and the chopper guys..it was stated to us by the lift lads not to wear a hard hat as they fly off under the chopper blast and become projectiles. Last job they did in Sydney the blast hit a guy with a strapped helmet and near snapped his neck and he lost balance and broke hiss ass.

So sometimes some legislation made up in a office by a pen pusher just to justify his existence doesn't work in the real world.:) we had hi vis on only lad not too was the heli rigger. I don't know his reason for not wearing it.

Dronus that's just driller talk. Once upon a time I couldn't spell driller...now me is one.

In that first bid I can hear the noise you think is cicadas. Its winter and no signs of them as yet. In my opinion its his idler pulley bearing and I sent him the NtC bearing number last night along with the tensioner rebuild mod thread link :)

My boy sits in the garage with me and chews the power leads that he can see and get to, the compressor leads are his favourite. He leaves the stick alone. Hmmmm maybe his mumma got it on with a rat?

All mounted and tested. Seems to clip at 3.88v. I am using a small 12v battery and there seems to be a slight difference from the power supply screen and my multimeter.

And here is a vid... i can do in higher res if needed..

Pretty simple circuit really.

Im in two minds if it will go before or after. Im thinking after. That way you cant put a +ve variance on the 3.9v and give yourself limp again....
