Hi everyone

Just bought my self a 2000 Gu 4.2 turbo cab chassis a couple of months ago and slowly doin some mods to it! Need more money though haha
But my question is does any one know of a decent place to get an exhaust around Adelaide anywhere???
And roughly how much ??? Or any place to order them would help

Well that depends on your budget.

Are you thinking cheap as , or are your thinking of 3inch dump pipe and straight through system?

Do you want a kit and you have the skill/time to fit it yourself? Do have some basic tools and perhaps a few mechanically minded mates. Will you need to have a welder and can you weld?

Ah so many things to think about...

Personally , i've started building a mandrel bent 4inch stainless one, just for the challenge

try Exhaust Plus in Nelson St, Stepney. Have had two jobs done by him; value for money, IMHO.

I was previously at a exhaust place in Goodwood but unfortunately had no satisfaction even tho' they replaced the initial upgrade for no charge.

I have heard good things about AAA exhuast, the mob mentioned above.

Or you can get an off the shelf complete bolt on 3" mandrel bent system straight from MTQ and they are damn good quality. A mate ordered a complete 3" '4WD Systems' exhaust (or so he thought) from Adelaide and it was actually an MTQ system (They did send him the wrong dump pipe twice in a row though ) MTQ sell through many outlets.

Another vote for AAA.

They did the exhaust on my patrol. Every join is a flange and it all lines up and fits well (having actually unbolted some of the sections, for various things I wanted to do).

If ya dont care about legalities soo much you can make your own 3" straight through exhaust ( ends at the cab) for around 500 bux that includes a stainless 3 inch dump pipe thats made here in adelaide.I did it too mine welded it myself, and it sounds wicked pm me if ya want more details.

i picked my exhaust up from a wrecking yard for 200 bucks, but had it modded by my mate (was originally for a TD42T GU cab chassis, and we managed to put it on a RD28 GQ LWB

ive had the same mate make me up exhausts from scratch for my race car (3" straight thru and the like), and he does some good work. would have to see what he'd charge for someone else (as its not his main job, he's a linesman like me but has good handiwork with a welder)

I am ready to sling some cash at someone to supply a 2.75 or 3" exhaust for my ZD30 including high flow cat.

It needs to be custom made at the rear as i have diesel gas.

Anyone on the forums run an exhaust place, or is AAA still the go? Happy to help pull the old exhaust off onsite etc.
