Gday guys just wondering where you guys have gotten your patrols resprayed in vic because my clear coat is coming of in spots and has come off in spots and if you have a place I would like to change the colour of it from the gold and metallic green to the nice red and gold two tone thanks ps and I know it looks fine in the picture but it is missing it on the top of that rear right guard and front guard as well thanks

I can't help you with any Vicco shops, but are you up for the cost of this??

When I resprayed my GQ I found out that they had an issue with the primer separating. You could get it to flake off, quite surprisingly. So to do it properly it was suggested I start from bare metal.

I think most shops will want some good coin for a bare metal job with a colour change. To do it properly will take many hours, and that will cost a heck of a lot. Materials alone could cost $2K.

When I resprayed my GQ I found out that they had an issue with the primer separating. You could get it to flake off, quite surprisingly. So to do it properly it was suggested I start from bare metal.

I think most shops will want some good coin for a bare metal job with a colour change. To do it properly will take many hours, and that will cost a heck of a lot. Materials alone could cost $2K.
I was quoted 4k for a bare metal job on a GU cab from 2 shops, they want you to take tray off and that, then they say dints can be extra but they cover a few. I really only need the roof and bonnet touched up to stop rust so can't justify a respray at that cost. I'd like to do myself but dust is an issue and time.
