1988 GQ TD4.2
Has a rear drum brake and I have a rear disc diff that Iam overhauling.
My Q is is it a simple diff C/O and connect up the standard hydralics and I will have a disc brake rear end or is there more to it ie diffent booster, lines ect

hey ando
they are a different m/cylinder but most people dont worry about swapping them and have no problems. you may need different lines but other then that it should just bolt up.
it you want to have a look at a disc rear end on a car mine hase one and im just up the road from you.

I did that to my GQ some years ago and did nothing but change over the entire axle, everything else stayed the same and I had no problems. Just make sure that the axle has the same gear ratio as the front.

Cheers Ray I will be changing ratio's when changing diff
