still none the wiser.(lots agas) thanks for answering parscheese, gu tourer, mike.

2000 4.2td patrol wagon. 20075ks on clock.
14lts to 100ks round town - 18-22ltrs towing 1.8ton offroad caravan.
steel bullbar with lights,
3" lift
new gearbox
dual batteries
factory snorkel
40psi tyre pressure

Need stats from td4.2 patrol wagon owner that has changed over to diesel/gas recently.
otherwise might have to buy navara d40 v6 petrol and put on gas.

Thats probably your best option then. From what I've read in many DG threads, your not going to get 4/100 better than you are now..
but then what economy are you expecting from a 3ton 4b with the aerodynamics of a wall towing lots of weight

wind ya fuel screw right back lol! Do a v8 diesel conversion. Sell the car. They are your options.

Gooday, since i converted to the Diesel/gas system i currently aver. 8.5 kl/p/ltr around town, about 12 kl/p/ltr on a trip not towing anything. When towing the 2 tonne van it drops to about 7 kl/p/ltr. Pretty much stock motor.
