did you hear that part of why Qatar got it was b/c they promised "air conditioned stadiums" for the event - kinda defeats the purpose if you ask me!! Part of football is the conditions, ie in England etc they often end up playing while its snowing, then in SA for the last one had to deal with 35-40+
Preparation is part of the sport


Oh and "It will bring peace to the middle east" was the other promise

Pity it cost $45m to do that, though on the bright side Joolya, the GG and Arbib all got a nice trip to Switzerland. Actually productive week for her - hanging out with Bono (for what?) and then off to Switzerland.

Achievement for the week - absolute zero.
