hi all,

new to all this and just started to enjoy my patrol. live in southern spain and took her around the mountains nearby, its rained alot and a few of the tracks have washed out creating deep rutts inthe same. i came across a particular one that i gingerly crept over however i scrapped the axle across a couple of small rocks that were embedded in the softish trail. since then however my steering seems to offer some resistance when i steer to the right, and now its starting to make a little nose akin to worn out bush nose as opposed to a hydraulic noise.

Any ideas??

thanks up front chaps.

Dickie from Spain..

Ithink it will be your steerinng dampner. The thing at the front underneath that looks like a shokkie, mine was dented and had resistance. Very dodgy to drive

Take the steering damper off & see if it moves in its entire range without scraping. If that's the problem it is a quick fix.
